This is a “domestic suspense” novel that I read cover-to-cover last weekend.

Right from the beginning this book held my attention when the mom returns home after being away for two days to find someone else moving into her house. The book goes back to how it all began to show you how this estranged couple came to be in this predicament.  They have separated and share a modern co-parenting arrangement: bird’s nest custody, where each parent spends a few nights a week in the home to maintain stability for their children. Many turns and twists with both mom and dad keeping secrets from each other. As things go out of control, strange coincidences keep occurring. Even the ending catches the reader and leaves you to speculate what will happen next.
