This book shows how complicated relationships within families can be. When Lucy met her mother-in-law, there was definitely a chill in the air. Her mother-in-law, Diana, was polite, but it seemed Lucy was not good enough for her son. As a community minded, wealthy, family matriarch she could not be faulted. But when she is found dead of apparent suicide, the police find that there is something fishy going on. Everyone in the family is questioned, but they all have secrets to keep. This book is a page turner and you don’t figure out who the murderer is until the last few pages.
