J. Courtney Sullivan’s latest book tells the story of two women in transition. Elisabeth is figuring out the first year of motherhood and trying to fit in in her new town. Sam, her nanny, is a college senior who is trying to figure out the next chapter in her life. As the two women bond over Elisabeth’s son, an interesting friendship develops. This book, like Maine, excels in character development and delving into relationships.
