In 1971, D. B. Cooper hijacked an airplane flying between Portland and Seattle, demanding a $200,000 ransom and a parachute.  He jumped out of the plane into the night never to be found.  Five decades later murder victims begin turning up in Savannah, Georgia completely drained of blood.  As Pendergast and his reluctant partner Agent Coldmoon rush to unravel the clues it becomes obvious there is a connection between the murders and the most famous hijacking in US history.  Fans of Preston & Child will not be disappointed in this latest installment in the series.  Those who have never read them are in for a new reading experience.
