Adult Program – “Music for a Lifetime” – Alan Wittenberg May 11th

Music touches us when words cannot.
Music therapist Alan Wittenberg will discuss how music can enrich lives from the beginning to the end of life, especially for those challenged by a range of disabilities, diseases and mental health issues. . Music therapy sparks joy, self-expression, release of anxiety, enhances memory and quality of life. Special focus on autism spectrum disorders and Alzheimer’s disease as well a music therapy in medical settings. This program will include video case study illustrations as well as hands on instrumental and vocal activities. No prior music skills needed.
