July means that summer is now in full swing and there is a lot going on. Lets look at some of the activities going on in this area.

Ellsworth Arts is again going to be having open-air movies Thursday evenings at Knowlton Park. Movies begin at sunset and one of the EPL Librarians will be doing a “storytime on location” before each movie. This is a free event. See the Ellsworth Arts site at:
And the concert series at Harbor Park will resume Friday, July 7. It’s sponsored by The Grand, so go to their website to see who is playing.

The Library has Summer Reading Programs for both children and adults. There are special teen programs Mondays at 2. The Pet Show is scheduled for Saturday July 15 and Maine St. Andrews Pipes & Drums will take place on the lawn Thursday, August 3 (both programs are dependent upon having good weather).
