The Ellsworth Historical Society Invites You to Their Annual Meeting

The Ellsworth Historical Society invites all members, stakeholders, and friends to attend its annual meeting on Monday, May 13 at 7 PM.
The event will take place at the Ellsworth Public Library’s lower level.
This gathering presents a valuable opportunity for the community to learn about the Society’s vision for the future of the Old Jail Museum and Heritage Center. Attendees are encouraged to offer feedback and ideas, contributing to the ongoing preservation and celebration of
Ellsworth’s rich history.
The purpose of the Ellsworth Historical Society is to promote interest in the city’s history as well as to collect and preserve an array of documents, memorabilia, and other items from the history of Hancock County Maine’s shire town — Ellsworth. The Society conducts research,
produces newsletters, and gives presentations on aspects of Ellsworth’s history. They also engage in the restoration and digitization of antique materials.
